I didn't know it was illegal to throw a "12 to 6" elbow, which im guessing means throwing your elbow straight down onto a guy, but why is that illegal?
Bader tried to take it to the ground on multiple occasions, but Jones stuffed each and every one of his attempts. He had a 10.5 inch reach advantage, but didn't really damage Bader standing up. He set him up with leg kicks and tossed Bader around like a rag doll... dominated him in his own area of expertise (Bader was a 2-time All-American wrestler at Arizona State). He choked the undefeated record right out of Bader. Also, did anyone catch the Ellenberger/Rocha bout. Rocha has one of the most polished ground games in the business, IMO. I was almost certain he had the decision, as he absolutely manhandled Ellenberger in the 1st round, and I thought he had the 3rd, as well. Was anyone else surprised that Ellenberger got the decision?
There's some bad blood between these 2 dudes. In all honesty, I could see Belfort putting Silva to sleep with a stiff left jab.
