no big names outside of the "main event", but a lot of fights i want to see. most of the guys on this card get into real good fights when they are in the cage. curious to see how dos santos does against yvel. i think he will light him up. also, i am curious to see how daley does after his failed weight cut yesterday. he missed weight by 1 pound and athletic commission officials wouldn't let him cut more because he looked wobbly (sp?). daley is an exciting fighter...i just hope he doesn't gas early.
Which one would be upset? Both are very good equally matched fighters in my opinion. It'd be hard to pick a winner between the two.
Possibly the worst card UFC has put out in a long while... 109 is not going to be that match better. The injuries have really put the UFC in a big hole, but once the fighters get healthy, the UFC is going to go in an incredible run with awesome cards. UFC 113 in March is shaping up a monster card. GSP Hardy, Mir Carwin, and Fitch Alves. As far as 108 goes, Rashad by TKO in the second, Daly by KO in the first and Dos Santos by decision. Paul Daly is a young up and coming superstar
I would never bet against Evans. Dude is just a workhorse in the gym and is always prepared. Can't wait for the fight!
I caught the stream, no way I'm paying 50 bucks for this. Some nice punches but just kind of blah - I don't know if it's just me and my lack of interest, but UFC was more interesting back in the early days. Maybe it's just the novelty wearing off.
It used to be a fight every 3 or 4 months. Now it's a card like every 2-4 weeks. They're overdoing it with these weak cards imo. It's all about that stack's.
You're probably right, the more active schedule probably grinds down the fighters quite a bit too I imagine.
