I wouldn't necessarily get too excited. 6/9 from 40-50. 2/6 over 50. 53% from 40+. Compare to Bullock last season who was 12/17 from 40-50 and 1/6 from 50+ for 56%. Looks fairly similar. Boswell was only 14/21 last year. And he missed 2 XP.
I guess for those that cared enough to mention Jeffcoat, looks like he is unavailable now. Tweeted that he is signing with Seattle. Should be interesting to see how that pans out. They have some solid passrushers up in Seahawks land.

I was really hoping SHSU rb Tim Flanders would sign with the Texans. Looks like he signed with the Saints. He would've been perfect in a ZBS.
I feel crazy saying this, but if Brooks Reed to ILB doesn't work, I feel Bullough could compete for a starting spot.
Whooo hoo:

Per @caplannfl Rice K Chris Boswell signs with the #Texans. Thanks for listing - I'm slightly reorganizing by position Bryan Witzmann, OT, South Dakota State Chris Martin, OT, Central Florida Matt Feiler, OT, Bloomsburg Kjleby Oiland, C, Montana Nathan Slaughter, WR, West Texas A&M Travis Labhart, WR, Texas A&M (Per David Nuno) Lacoltan Bester, WR, Oklahoma Anthony Denham, TE, Utah Chris Coyle, TE, Arizona State Chris Boswell, K, Rice Max Bullough, ILB, Michigan State Brendan Daly, LB, Hawaii, (TRYOUT) Chris Young, LB, Arizona State Terrance Lloyd, OLB, Baylor Cory Henry, DE, Florida Atlantic Chris McAllister, DE, Baylor Jason Ankrah, DE, Nebraska Tyone Ezell, DT, Pittsburgh (TRYOUT) Stan Grosz, DT, Cal Poly Wade Keliikipi, DT, Oregon (TRYOUT) Austin Brown, DT, Miami (OH) Nick Addison, S, Bethune-Cookman Marcus Williams, CB, North Dakota State Chasing help at tackle and LB's obviously no surprise. Think they're satisfied with who they have already for defensive line depth? LOL Can't wait for camp
Count me in the crowd that thinks Bullough will get significant play time. His attitude and motor are perfect next to Cushing. It's like having two Cushings out there. Crazy mofos that want to draw blood.
I don't follow college ball much, but from what I've read, this Max Bullough should've been anywhere from a 3rd round pick to the end of the draft depending on who you ask. He was suspended for the Rose Bowl win over Stanford, but the reason was never disclosed. Apparently he told all the NFL teams what the reason was, but won't discuss what the reason was.
