I got 45, but there were about 30 or so I couldn't get. I can't seem to google an official count, if anybody knows where it's posted I wanna know.

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VskbxuehP3I"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VskbxuehP3I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

In order but there with lots of ?'s in between: Zappa, Simon and Garfunkle , Roy Orbison, Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Marley, Satchmo, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Herman (Hermits), Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Keith Moon, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, Temtations, Elvis Costello, Ramones, Jimi, Johnny Cash, Iggy, Paul, Mary J., Elvis, Beyonce, Elton, Who, Carpenters, Sly, George Harrison, Jimi, Chrissy, Ray, Moon, Bowie, Smokey, Elvis, Robert Plant, Vlad Horowitz , Ronnie Specter, Chubby Checker,Tom Jones, Jerry Lee, Jay Z, Patti Smith, Stevie Wonder Frank

Maybe cut an paste my list (spoiler) and flesh out the ones I missed. By the way I think I was wrong on Tom Jones.

This is a fun game! :)

Maybe someone could rewrite the names listwise so it's easier to read. I'm too lazy at the moment.

My friend says that's Nina Simone after Zappa and that my Ronnie Specter was right. Quote and edit in your additions.

They were in there twice - early and then middle-late. Both were clips from Stop Making Sense.

I'm pretty bad at these types of things, but I think that's Nirvana again (or Krist Novoselic, anyway) at 3:44 -- between Stevie and Frank at the end of the list.

I think that's the Beastie Boys at 3:07 and the Talking Heads right before Public Enemy.

    Cool video...

I didn't see Paul Simon, but wasn't those little black kids walking around @ the 3:42 mark from Simon's "Diamonds on the Souls of their Feet" video?

Before they show Beck for a second time, there's a woman playing a violin, I think that's the chick from the Corrs and before that it's Birdman. I think that's his name.

There's a 2nd version of this video that looks very similar to the Beatles Free as a Bird vid.
