Ok I know they are losing by like 13 pts right now, but I cant help but love their non-slefish style of play..... Not to mention the Phi Slama Jama type of play they put on the court. I think this team may make some noise this year...... possibly crack the top 25 if they play as hard as they are playing against UCLA! comments welcome.....
Well I hope so, but I also know we couldn't beat the scrubby exhibition teams we faced like the "EA Sports All-Stars" and the "Texas Blue Chips"...so I'm not too sure if this game is the exception or the rule...
UH needs better guard play to turn the corner. They suck from 3 so the opposing defences play off them and deny the inside game. UH has troubel getting the ball to the big men because of this and they can't drain the open 3's so the offense is going to struggle. Gaines should help when he becomes eligible. Don't expect too much this year but look for much improvement next year when Andre Owens becomes eligible and Cedric Hensley and Dwight Jones Jr. arrive to damatically improve the gaurd situation.
