You sure about that? Bonzi is a pretty smart player. His motivation is the issue -- he doesn't always play hard.
Bonzi BB Iq is pretty high. His Normal IQ is questionable. that's the sad part of some fantastic NBA players, such as Pippen, Spree, Artest and Denis Rodman..
My biggest gripes with Bonzi were the outside jumpers he would take early or midway in the shot clock, his incredibly bone-headed passes (which seemed to come in bunches) and the missed layups. I admit the last few games he took fewer jumpers and missed fewer layups, but his ill-advised passes kept coming. I actually think he's a smart guy but his judgment on the court left something to be desired.
He did make a number of pretty touch passes in the paint throughout the year. I guess I'll miss that.
even more interesting was this image at the top of the blog: captioned: me, my new teammate, my friend that is a crazy pic, eh?
What I want to know is how Wells and James will get along with Byron Scott, who is a no-nonsense kind of guy. I don't think Byron will let them get away with much BS.
I sure hope they give him the green light. I'd like to see them lose a few games so that we can get home court advantage in the playoffs.
That's an interesting read from Chandler. The man is deep and has a lot of feelings. I see the same in Bobby. When he left the Kings, you can tell he was pissed, that's why his stats go down after being traded. But under RA, he's going to be back to Bobby again...guaranteed. Chandler should come to Houston to join up with Yao and Tmac and Bobby for the Championship.
I definitely see this trade coming back to haunt Houston in the playoffs. Wells will be playing for a new contract this off-season. And for all the hate Mike James gets, I trust his shot in the playoffs a lot more than Head. I see him launching a game winner for the Hornets, more than I see Head doing the same for us.
Chandler's reflections on Jackson don't surprise me in the least. I've had the privilege of meeting Jackson in person several times at Sacramento Monarchs games, and he's just about the nicest human being on planet Earth.
7:18 NO - M. James made a 25-foot three-pointer from the right wing. Assist: J. Pargo 7:33 NO - B. Wells steals the ball from M. Finley I'm sad.
