I said no just because I don't know who this guy is...probably should've watched some film on him up but whatever
Not buying the hype now coming out of nowhere. Might not make the final roster ahead of Miller, Grimes, and Blue
We went from having one sub 4.4 sec guy playing skill positions to five. I don't know what it means in terms of actual productivity but at least it'll be different from the unrelenting mediocrity that has been the Texans offense in the BOB era.
I can understand why people would ask 'why another offensive player" in this draft? I think the answer is that there has been a fundamental offensive change and direction taking place. Now, if much of the change is dictated on drafted players then it's only obvious that some of those picks may not pan out or get injured and if so, you are right back where you started from. Extra picks like Braxton and Tyler help insure against a return to the pre vious direction. I also would like to shore up the defense but if that is not to be, the d will still benefit greatly from a better offense that keeps them off the field.
I don't think you will see Alfred go quite yet. Still on a rookie contract and can still contribute on special teams. All these speed is going to be something to see once it finally translates to the field. Also you have to feel they must have a lot of faith in Covington if they haven't addressed the D-line yet.
IR'd Savage last year(2nd year) Trevardo never played a down for Houston Let's hope Ervin is better than both!
I love it. I'll never have to see Blue get caught from behind on a breakaway run where he had a 10 yard head start.
Just because he doesnt have a "name" you have heard of, doesnt mean his not good. I still remember the "Watt who?" when that pick was made. Those other "Names" some of you wanted have not been as good (except Von Miller).
