wasnt his fault, he made the right passes. players missed shots, and then Brewer let that Johnson guy have 4 straight layups

    What a massive dropoff.

    I hope he's cut.

Never did I imagine that 2nd year being non-guaranteed mattering at all. He will be gone.

While it does happen — and the ones that do happen tend to be bigger names — December is not a time the NBA does a lot of trades. Team GMs are always willing to talk, listen, and get a feel for the market, but it’s not until after the first of the year — and closer to the February trade deadline — before the market picks up momentum.

But there are always trade rumors, and the well-connected Steve Kyler over at BasketballInisiders.com had an interesting one — the Houston Rockets might be open to moving Ty Lawson.

The Rockets have been sniffing around the league for deals and there is a belief among other teams that Lawson could be had in trade, and had cheaply. Lawson is owed $12.4 million this season with the final $13.21 million of his deal being fully non-guaranteed.

As the Rockets search for ways to change, there is a belief that Lawson could be the first Rocket player moved. But given how poorly Lawson has played in Houston and his troublesome off-the-court history, it’s hard to imagine that Lawson alone is going to yield much in return. But as teams start to get desperate, Lawson does have a career assist average of more than 6.5 assists per game and averaged 9.6 per game last season for the Nuggets.

Highly doubt we fire our coach and our top acquired player/PG in the same year.

Gotta give Lawson and the team more time to gel. Now that D-Mo is back, lets see what happens.

I still believe Lawson's playing style fit perfectly with the Rockets.

Let Lawson play under Carlisle and his system, guarantee he'd put up great numbers. No coincidence Deron is suddenly contributing again after playing for a great coach again.

I was just looking on a sight trying to figure about 2016 draft

    Check this. . . . . CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!!! LOL

*IF* The Rockets DON'T make the playoffs
They get to KEEP this pick and the Next pick is a second rounder in 2017

So . . . If they SACRIFICE this year

Next year they can have potential have a high draft pick

    just stirring the pot . .. lol. . . . .because I am bored.

Lawson + Harden + Dmo + Howard + Capela + Potentially a top pick if the ball bounces right. . . hhhmmm

We were so innocent and full of optimism. :(

Still think Lawson is a great player and a huge contributor if utilized in the right way, so I'm not judging this experiment yet. We don't have a lot of time though, the coach has to make the necessary adjustments and openly tell the team who the ballhandler should be. Using Lawson as an off the ball guard is a complete waste.

At points through the season I would be so frustrated to see bev bringing the ball up with Lawson on the floor, Lawson standing in the corner while harden dribbles out the clock, Lawson getting pulled from the game as soon as he looks like he is doing something positive, harden letting other players handle the rock but not really Lawson, Lawson getting an open look but not shooting. My mind was so blown at what the **** I was watching. I have a separate list for Thornton

What was Morey's mistake, making a trade than any GM running the Rockets would have made in a heartbeat?
