This must be the reason you don't post very often.

Lawson should be in 10 mandatory pick and rolls every single game, and much of the offense should be based around that. The Rockets as a staff have NOT made it a priority and Lawson certainly isn't blameless.

He is not scoring at will off the bench, he doesn't play D. He's useless. Unless he wants a crappy contract, then I assume he'd want out as well. It is ok to say it was a failed experiment but at this point Lawson has to agree that it would be beneficial for him to leave this team. He should want out.

Lawson is def to blame for some of his struggles, but man our staff has don an awful job of setting up any offensive plays that play to his strengths. Lawson needs motion in the offensive so that there is spacing when he drives the lane. He gets in there whenever he wants but our guys aren't in good position to get open. The defense is able to just sag off of the other 4 guys that are standing around, and Ty ends up either forcing a shot or pass. If our guys were on the move when ty is breaking down the defense, the defense would have to make choices. Stay with their man, or pick up Ty. But our offense is so ****ty that we can do this. And Ty doesn't seem to be a strong enough leader to get the guys to do it.

I would have thought Lawson would want to be shopped, if he wasn't the primary driver to his being shopped. This is a contract year for him. If he doesn't start showing he's the same player he was, his next contract is going to suck. Since its not working out too well here, I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted a trade so he can try his luck elsewhere. Now, much of the fault does lie with him, so things aren't likely to go better some place else, but you never know. That he is even getting reassurance from the team, I suppose, is news about where his head is at -- still trying to make it work in Houston.
