he means that Morey would have over 9000 point guards on the roster. Two of them supposed to be stars.

I think Livingston or Douglas would be moved

yeah, but having both Lawson+Lin is kind of Khan.
I guess for the Rockets it's not so unusal to have 2 starting level point guards. But this time they both would be brought up be starters, per original plan, and paid starter money.

Nah, just poking fun at Kahn for trading Lawson back when. ;) That class where he drafted 3 PGs: Rubio, Flynn, and Lawson.

During the lockout I've said repeatedly that to achieve parity, you dump the max contract and have a hard cap, basically NFL rules. So no, the CBA has done very little in this regards.

That said, Lawson is REALLY, REALLY good. The only problem is that Denver has no star player. Lawson would be perfect in a big-3 or as #2 to a superstar.

Anything more than 4yr/$45 mil. is ridiculous for Lawson. He is good, dont get me wrong, but a larger contract is approaching max money for a PG who while offensively gifted, a great passer, will always be too small to effectively guard avg size PGs. Too small, not a max player

I agree. The only way I can see Lesticals giving up Lin in a trade is if he is part of deal to bring in CP3

I think Lin has set the market value for all upcoming PGs

12 mil a year for TY lawson. This is how a team dooms itself to mediocrity.

sounds fair to me. Lawson at 12 mil > George Hill or Conley at 8 mil

Lawson has sort of been a disappointment, right? Not hearing much talk about his underwhelming play. I expected the Nuggets to have a much better record with that talent.

    13.2 pts (40% FG, 24% 3PT, 60% FT), 7.4 asts, 2.6 rebs, 2.0 stls, 3.2 TO

keep in mind he's getting paid $12 million

compare that to Lin who is (deservedly) getting trashed on everywhere

    10.3 pts (38% FG, 25% 3PT, 81% FT), 6.5 asts, 4.5 rebs, 2.1 stls, 2.9 TO
