Checked out Zoo last night Minor interest piquing going on. It did not give enough in the first episode If you did not know the premise going in . . . . you'd think that it was DEEP BLUE SEA . . .except not in the sea and with lions [i.e. scientist made smart lions through contaminate mutant food and ruh roh] Rocket River
I think Six Feet Under is one of the best tv shows ever produced. You have a real treat coming in the series finale. It's amazing.
We watched 2 episodes and gave up. Nothing was happening, really. In both episodes the first 90% of the episode was mostly nothing, then the last 10% they put in some decent stuff to make you ask some questions and kind of want to watch the next episode... but i'm not falling for that.
It gets better after episode 4. FOUR HOURS before anything actually happens. I also quit half way through episode 5. I want to watch, but it is pretty boring.
Sense8 was very average. If it were on networks, it would've been canceled quickly. I finished it because it had a good premise, but it was never gripping and the finale was very meh. Been watching White Collar on Netflix, always liked Matt Bomer from Chuck. Very enjoyable crime episodic series with a season long mystery. Plenty of hotties on the show, too. Other than that, just watching Last Ship. Didn't care for True Detective last year and season two opener was a snoozer, so not gonna watch that anymore.
If anyone has never seen Chuck, I highly recommend watching the whole series. It's on Netflix. Watched it over the course of the last 3 months. No tv show has played with my emotions like that show has. (Besides scrubs)
I love Rectify also but, indeed, it isn't for everyone. Before watching this show, I don't think I even knew Sundance TV existed.
Is Agents of SHIELD any good? Both seasons are on Netflix, so I'm thinking about checking it out. I also watched OITNB season 1 when it first came out. Thought it was meh... any reason to continue it?
Agents of SHIELD is a weird show because it pretty much stalls until the latest Marvel movie comes out then picks up for the last 6 or so episodes of each season. It isn't a perfect show, but for what it's worth, I never thought I was wasting my time. First season might be tough to get through, but I think there is a solid pay off when it is all said and done. Season 3 is going to cover a very popular arc in the comics if that isn't more incentive to watch. Season 2 of OITNB is bananas IMO.
Huge comic book fan so I guess I'll finish AoS through, plus Chloe Bennet is extremely attractive to me. Heard the same about season 2 of OITNB and it got pretty good reviews so I guess I may give it a shot. Thanks.
Fight your way through season 1 until the Captain America: The Winter Soldier tie-in hits, then AoS becomes a hell of a lot more interesting. Season 2 is IMO better than the latter half of season 1.
Finally watched the pilot for Zoo last night. Looks pretty promising. Still digging on The Whispers, but I'm slowly losing interest in Mr. Robot...
I Agree with all of this Mr. Robot started strong .. . the last episode was kind of meh Whispers has been strong and engaging Zoo will get maybe 4 episodes at least Have not seen the Strain from last night yet Rocket River
