Everyone of them is a trainwreck. That peaky blinders kid is a bit of a dud to be a moral compass, but I guess you play that way to live as the new guy. Barkin is decent as the matriarch. Would probably like her more as a mastermind like a Thomas Shelby. The nonstop wtf drama is what gets me. Hope they develop the deadbeat drug addict brother more. He's the most boring of the bunch. The only suspense with that dumb teen girlfriend is how barkin destroys her and makes her turn tricks for them. That would elevate TNT up to FX status. Would be boring of she's just kept around as a dumbass spy for the mom
I've been watching the Netflix documentary "I am a Killer" while working. It's really well done, which keeps me watching, and the stories are interesting, albeit depressingly so. And of course a lot of the episodes are about/around Texas, since it all deals with death row inmates. That said, the producers/interviewers seem to be foreign, and the whole thing has a "can you believe this guy is on death row?!?!" vibe to it while playing up aspects that might not make the crimes 1,000% completely "death row worthy" while glossing over everything else - like the fact that these are bad bad bad people.
Just watched Humans S3 (8 episodes). I felt no urgency when it resumed in early June. This was probably the best season yet. IMO, it was so good they should have ended the show. Instead, they added a twist in the finale that leaves the door open for continuation. I have mixed feelings about that. S2's finale was a great lead into a much-improved S3. Not sure if they can pull that off again.
I *really* did not care for the twist Spoiler IT was just generic. Like The old show V . . ooo The Star Child . . that will bridge the gap. I did like the season but I thought some things were too convenient. I was happy they were bold in some ways . . .and hope they do not do an UNDO later Rocket River
Big Brother and AGT I know my life sucks but at least I'm not keeping up with the Kardashians. The Flash on netflix WKRP reruns on MeTV
[Power] is returning for a 6th season on [Starz]. Power move. More to go, Lala. Also would take a glimpse at Sharp Objects (HBO).
jack ryan was a pretty decent show. Jim Halpert did a pretty decent job playing Jack Ryan. There are a couple large plot holes, but otherwise enjoyed it.
Watched A Quiet Place two days ago which made me watch e01 of Jack Ryan just now. In terms of setting the hook, it was perfection. Nothing particularly original but it was fun. 7 more episodes to go.
