Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård Sweet. Haven't read one of his books in years, but I was a big fan back in the day.
Derry Girls, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Inbetweeners, and Schitt's Creek are all excellent. Absolutely Fabulous remains one of the funniest shows ever. For younger viewers the laugh track can be irritating but that's how they used to do it.
Counterpart (or "that show with the insurance guy" to my wife) started a second season several weeks ago but I just found out because I don't watch Starz. Science Fiction "multiple dimensions" premise with an intense spy thriller plot. By spy spy thriller, it reminds me very much of a John LeCarre spy movie, like "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"; there's a slow boil to the plot with a lot of tension but not a ton of action and most of the sympathetic characters are suffering from clinical depression or other mental illness and are about to break at any moment. Despite a hokey Sci Fi plot device they do an excellent job of making it feel very serious and tense. I really like the cast/acting.
The Blacklist just started back LAst season I think . . . .. I am tired of Elizabeth at this point Rocket River
Watching Homecoming on Prime. I keep waiting for the show to grow quickly in interest, however it's a very slow growth. I bet it will be one of those shows where the finale is great, and the other hours were just a build up... at this point, IDK if I could recommend it.
I never saw the movie. And the show was great. You don't need to see the movie, they do a great job of introducing the story / wrap ups. Neil Patrick Harris is amazing in it.
That show is awesome. Can't wait till the next season. Not sure if they started filming....I recall seeing the guy writing the script though.
I think you'll dig it. Check out "The Game" on BBC also (maybe 10 years ago?); awesome British Cold War spy intrigue.
I really like this show. We also watched Titans. I also really liked that show. I like the take on the characters.
