Yep, just finished season 2, GODAMN!!! This show is too good. Lenny Bruce steals every scene he's in. I'm telling you CF, WATCH THIS SHOW!!! This was the song I was talking about, they used in the end credits for episode 9.
I'm about finished with the second season of Patriot on prime. Definitely a different kind of show, but i'm really enjoying it.
just finished get shorty on netflix. kind of similar to barry, but still unique enough to be enjoyable.
I have gotten through 7 episodes. Remove the Satanism and this is a CW Show. . . in fact . .. I think Riverdale is probably darker It only takes a few episodes to see that the protagonist will never be in real danger and probably will never be wrong. . . . Hates her witchy side until she needs something then she all in Rocket River
Sabrina was supposed to be on the CW but they passed on it. I'm on episode 6-7 episodes in too too. I get the sense that Sabrina is never going to be in danger because Lucifer and the other witches don't want her dead; they just want her to sign the book for her power. Even the evil teacher person is looking out for her. All her friends are the ones in danger, not Sabrina. Sabrina embraces her witch side; she is just rebelling against being full witch and having to cut off the human world. She is also trying to find out more about her parents. I still like it. It's fun

who was the crazy mo fo that recommended schitt's creek? Enjoying it! Took me a couple of episodes to get into it. What's with David's thing for sweaters? Noticed that the new season of "Travelers" is on Netflix. I don't even know what I'm watching anymore. It's a cluster f'. I feared it could go this way as time travel shows tend to complicate themselves. I'm only watching because of Marcy.
Wife and I just watched both seasons of Miss Maisel, really impressed.....and you're right Lenny Bruce is great every time he pops up.....

It seems like there are a million Travelers/Faction members all over the earth. Yeah, those guys are assholes. But the core Travelers, I like them and their relationships..

I think we also have to understand why they are the way they are: The black girl can no longer be with the man she loves (MacLaren) because of the mission. Now her life is that of a woman who is(was) beaten by her spouse and has a child to take care of. Now, not only does she have to save the future, she has to make sure her child is taken care of, fighting for custody, finding a job (outside saving the world) and fixing a relationship with a man who is abusive. Historian was put into the body of a person who has a drug addiction. He wasn't a drug addict in the future. The person he is inhabiting has no personal attachment except drugs. He sees all his colleagues in relationships and he has none; he just sits in their base all day. A lot of the trouble in the show comes from him trying to make personal connections outside the group and those relationships using him to destroy the future. The Asian programmer being an ******* is part of her charm, IMO. She is struggling to remain an ******* even though she really isn't. She cares about more than she is letting on. Her relationship with the Old guy in the kid body is HILARIOUS. The Travelers backstories, character developments, and interactions are more interesting than the actual plot, IMO.
I get their backstories. The black chick's lack of story before being inhabited kind of doesn't help The interactions with just about anyone is problematic Rocket River
