Watching Nightflyers on Syfy. Based off a GRR Martin novela. It's basically Event Horizon the series. I wish it leaned in more on the scfi instead of the horror, but it's fun and it's in.. *deep breath* SPAAAAACE! Furthermore Jodie Turner Smith is pretty sexy IMO. Not sure why they are burring off all the episodes every day this week. first episode below! I also Watched She-Ra on Netflix. it was fine. I liked it for what it was. It seems a lot of people think it was too SJW-y. I guess, but who cares? The 80's She-Ra was straight trash...
Finally got around to season 2 of The Deuce, the David Simon show about how the p*rn industry blossomed in 1970s New York. I suggest people give it a go if you thought season one was kind of slow. It picks up considerably as the characters get a little sharper. W/o giving too much away, aspects of it kind of track as a philosophical prequel to the Wire, and it also hits a lot of the same dramatic beats Simon likes to hit in his shows. And it's got t*tties. And you gotta love t*tties, c'mon
restarted watching Shameless. I gave up on it a year or so ago. Decided to give it another shot. Also started Damnation 2 episodes in and just ok
Speaking of prime.... Any good looking 4k shows? I gave up on Electronic Sheep halfway because of their cheeseball twists.
Started watching Outer Limits on Hulu, not the original, the one from the early 90's. It used to freak me out as a kid, especially the intro.
Episode 1 got me excited, but episode 2 has me worried for the rest of the season. I haven't watched episode 3 yet, but things are already starting to get wonky. Yeah I think so. This show was adapted from a short story.
I am just remembering that I read the story as I watch it . .. . . . . It is coming back to me . . been years ago. Rocket River
I just had an Old Man Fatty Fat b*stard moment when I thought of the Alyssa Milano episode. Hotime and Skinemax ftw
Man, you guys are sleeping on CW's All American. The teen angst emanating from 27 year old actors playing 16-17 year old kids is at peak levels and I love it. I don't think I have ever watched this amount of unironic teen angst (Gossip Girl, The OC) from a predominantly black cast ever. All have been sitcoms if I'm correct. Full Disclosure: I have watched every episode of Degrassi.
From episode 6 of CW's All American. Just look at this sh-t! This is text book teen trash! I love it! I'm eating it up! Layla is such a creep, gawd damn!
Is this the point where I start screaming about spoilers? Watched the 1st 2, have them set to record the rest. I thought it was interesting but pretty much HAL meets Ash meets Event Horizon so far. We'll see.
I knew little of R.R. Martin's inclination toward the Horror genre. I also think the budget might be limited as some scenes seem a bit low tech. And it resembles a certain fanbase.
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the only show you should be watching right now. It's that good, on amazon prime.
LOL no doubt. Seriously though this show is freaking hysterical. You would think this is gonna be some boring ass 50s 60s show but damn they flipped the script on you and everything feels modern today if that makes any sense. They even used a pet shop boys song in the end credits which I thought was pretty cool. If you like comedies, this is one of the best shows out there by a mile.
Already finished with the second season, everyone should take a glimpse. I will go and search for the pet shop boys song.
