Actually . . .Smallville is more of a direct comparison because it takes superman when he was young Whereas this old show was basically an older flash Rocket River if i recall correctly
Those effects look pretty impressive. I wonder if they will be able to keep that level up throughout the season. I'm on board, it looks good! It looks like they fast forwarded "Team Flash" to 3 members in just one episode. Arrow slowly brought on its team, I mean there are like 17 people on the team now, but there was still a progression. Arrow's team was just Arrow in the beginning. I must say I'm not really feeling that suit though.
...and I was a HUGE fan of that show when it came out. I still have every episode on my hard drive somewhere. I saw it too. I thought it was okay. It was definitely way too fast paced (no pun intended), and a bit cheesy at times as well. But I thought most of the acting was well done (better than Arrow at least), and I love where they're going with the show...the ending is definitely interesting for comic book fans.
After seeing this preview earlier this year, I started watching Arrow, and frankly I love it, I was very pleasantly surprised. I am just up to the season finale, and it looks like it's should be pretty great. Hoping the Flash manages the same thing.
Pilot was awesome, some awesome Easter Eggs Spoiler Gorilla Grodd, Wayne Tech on the newspaper headline at the end, Infinite Crisis, Ferris Air(Green Lantern) Should be epic.. can't wait

I have to agree. The Flash pilot had some serious pacing issues. Everything felt way too rushed, and I don't think it was intentional in keeping with the theme of the show. Just trying to squeeze too much into too little time. This obviously should normalize as the show progresses (hopefully).
