I have an infant. When I stayed up at night so my wife could sleep I would watch them while the baby slept in her swing. Winning.
Watched all 13 episodes. Awesome series. Spacey has to get nominated for an Emmy next year. David Fincher has done it again!
Great freaking series so far, think I'm about 8 episodes in. Can't wait for more of it... and I love Netflix shaking up the TV business with this model. Hope more series follow!
Even though it technically isn't a true series; Arrested Development is doing the same thing with Netflix.
Haven't seen it yet but am very encouraged by the comments here. How does it compare to Kelsey Grammer's series "Boss"? Anybody have a comment?
I mean they haven't announced a second season...but you'd have to think given the way the first one ended that there will most certainly be a second season
It's a better version of Boss in my opinion and I thought Boss was a solid enough show. Spacey's character is more charming/likable than Kelsey's character who was harder to empathize with. All the characters here fit and nearly everyone does a great job acting-wise. Boss was a bit clunky in that department, especially with the daughter side-plot which was unbearable and took up entirely too much time (actress that played her was also very bad.) The dialogue here can get silly at times but it's nowhere as over-the-top as Boss..although that is probably done on purpose with Boss.
Second season was announced a few days before it was released on Netflix. http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplayl...-will-begin-production-in-the-spring-20130126
I was reading an interview with the creator and he mentioned that Netflix gave them 2 seasons up front, which was a big help in writing a cohesive 2 season arc.
There's a few things I read that being on Netflix allows them the do: - It gives them the flexibility to not worry about how long each episode is to fit in a specific time slot. So they can write the story however it makes sense and end it when they want to. - Since most people will binge watch they don't have to recap the previous episodes at the beginning of every episode.

Spoiler So I may have been tired but when Francis. was hanging with the Riflemen did I understand right that Francis had some "close" times with his one friend?
