Season 3 became too much like every other show, a drama about a relationship.

And Frank was no longer the Frank that was feared and pulled the strings in the background, he was weak.

You're right, as POTUS he can't be in the background, that's why personally, I would have liked to see season 3 be his downfall, and then just end the series.

Can't remember where I read it but the review I read gave it a C-, however more reviews are starting to come in and they seem like they're a little more positive. I'm back on board! We'll see on Friday if it ends up getting back on track.

Gave up halfway during season 3. Season 1 was so fantastic, season 2 meh, season 3 = ****. Done with the show, it had its run and it's no longer enjoyable.

Reading solid reviews, but haven't seen one that has given it a GREAT review. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it though, especially if it's better than season 3.

After reading the review from slate.com I feel a lot more optimistic.

Loved Season 1/2. Wasn't a fan of Season 3, but I definitely want to know where it's headed.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I liked all 3 seasons. Frank always winning and being on top would have been pretty boring. I liked him being caught unaware by Claire's action and under fire from different directions. Now we get to see how he reacts. I'm guessing he won't shrink from the challenge.

(In the meantime, HOC on its worst season is still better than 95% of the **** out there on television)

Man I checked at 11 before I went to sleep, hoping it would have loaded when the east coast hit midnight, I'll watch a few tonight for sure.

I thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, but 3 was definitely lacking and not up to that high standard.

I will be watching S4, but not with the same kind of anticipation I had before S2 and S3.
