Anyone catch the season premier last night? I had no idea what it was about, other than Charlie Sheen being himself. Didn’t realize it was going to be almost the same show as Two and a Half Men. Only thing I wanted out of it was no laugh track... and it has one.

I didnt think it was THAT bad, but its certainly not on par with the usual FX standard

And plenty of all time great shows had a laugh track I dont see why that is a big deal

TV isn't the same as it was in the 80s and 90s. The standard sitcom and laugh track has been getting phased out ever since Curb. Obviously Two and a Half Men was a huge success and is the standard for our conversation, but most new shows that get success (30 min comedies) are not like this (AD, Sunny, 30 Rock, Community, Modern Family, The Office, etc etc).

And I don't think this show was absolute terrible, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping.

It was pretty cool, but not what I was expecting.
