it was alright...i've never read the comics so i can't compare. like others though...i'm not a fan of 1 more year of the governor...though gotta believe hes just more in the background because hes on his own...so probably some new threat will get the main focus...then BAM...governor comes rolling back in.
The governor is gone. Forget about him. The writers wanted to keep the character in their hip pocket because it might be convenient to pull him out for an episode or two later on. There is no way they build another season around him. That ship has sailed.
I just don't see how anyone could think the finale was somehow significantly worse than the season itself. Therefore if the finale did so well ratings wise that would indicate that fans were pretty happy with the storylines the season put forward.
the finale was alright, but i was expecting a much larger fight. it kind of left me with a "meh" feeling.
Spoiler No...that would be season 5 or 6. A lot happens in between the end of the Prison and the introduction of Neagan.
I don't think they're leaving the prison anytime soon. And as much as I love the show, this is the first time I haven't been itching to get to new episodes. There's nothing (change of location, looming conflict) to look forward to. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/04/02/the-walking-dead-kirkman-talks-season-3-finale-teases-season-4
So I guess you and everyone else disappointed here will quit watching this show... Yeah, I thought so.
Lol never said I would quit watching the show. Is a person not allowed to be dissapointed by something they had high expectations for?
Season was meh compared to others. Many great moments though, and a zombie fix is a zombie fix. As for the last fight, Woodbury already displayed they had marksman military tactics...so who was guarding the perimeter? Not that stupid zitfaced kid who got his ass owned by "I got shot in the gut trying to feel up a deer" Carl. Carl! And if I were among the prison team, I'd have totally drowned the floor with gasoline and covered up the smell. Flashbangs...feh. It'd be an oven down there. It's like they never played Xbox or something.. You mean his leg wasn't amputated in real life?? NOOOOOO fantasy ruined...Might think zombies are fake now.
I read somewhere that Morrisey (the Gov) is getting regular cast member billing for the title sequence next season.
