Trying to understand China, the CBA and the situation with Yao Ming

    Nowhere in my previous post did I say the CBA was using him as a bargaining chip over NBA TV rights. Nowhere in that post did I say that. <b>You interpreted it that way.</b> I said that the CBA is delaying the release, because of hard bargaining for TV rights in China. How many other posts of mine do you want me to pull where I say that negotiation is between the TV moguls and the State and Stern. The CBA is technically the one delaying the release. I've never said they are negotiating TV rights.

    What we have established is that TV rights is being negotiated, and I'm saying that is a better reason for the CBA to be asked to delay the release...than Wang playing for the NT is.
