What do you think of the 'good news' of 110+ deaths so far today? There is a serious pandemic going on and the idiot some helped get into office is going to cost some people their lives. Much more effort is required to minimize the damage. Any premature optimisim only serves to undermine efforts to tackle the problem by making it seem like things are getting better (when they are not) and will lead to more people paying the biggest price.

Not entirely fair, but overall the President has handled the situation poorly. I will be curious to see how the fallout of this pandemic will be for Trump. My “guess” is that it will be a positive for him. Right now 45% of Americans approve of his handling of the WuHan virus.
Not entirely fair considering what? That by mid January every medical institution in Europe and Asia were warning the world. Honestly I have been telling my coworkers since the beginning of February to get ready because of all the reports I was seeing and all the leaks that people were getting out of China made me believe that this was going to get bad. Trump had to have heard all of it but didn't think it was a big deal. Because he thought it was going to hurt his bid for re-election. Now we are looking at thousands of deaths and yet people like yourself still believe that he is doing an adequate job.
