Apparently someone doesn’t understand what veto power is. No way that tax bill is repealed under a Republican President. Maybe in 2021 but it would likely just be a fix in the high income bracket where it’s not so heavily weighted towards the top. Most Democrats were okay with a cut in the corporate rate but maybe not that deep. That being said I wouldn’t be shocked if the Republican propaganda machine started running ads for November saying to vote Republican or else the evil Democrats will literally pull $4,000 dollars out of your bank account on January 1st. The more prudent thing to do if the Democrats come back in office ever will be to fix our healthcare system which is where the bulk of people’s paychecks are going to drain our wealth.

If your taxes are going to pay to prevent crime in the first place, or put to use after crimes have already been committed to go after the people committed them, wouldn't you want to pay them in a way that prevents crime from happening to from the beginning?
