Someday I hope to make enough money so I can move to a developed country that knows how to handle a virus.
This message would hold some value if the rest of the first world was just “living with it”. I thought Trump was all about American exceptionalism and “Making America Great Again.”? So now his message is “Just deal with it”.... He really thinks the American people are stupid.

If we need to live with it, we should have decided that months ago before the economist of a President put the economy in the tank. Surely, if we're going to be Sweden, let's be them. I guess he thinks this is his only hope for reelection. He'll cite the greatest four straight months of job creation in the history of the country. The bob lazy voters will realize it's just from workers dying and other workers getting their jobs back. The ignorant Trump supporters may go for it. Opening the economy back up, at the public's peril (and when it shouldn't have been closed down in the first place, if you go by this message), does not equal job creation. Giving people their jobs back, and having other people step in to fill the dying's role, does not mean creating jobs. This guy is a moron through and through.
This. Which is it? Did he screw up shutting everything down and harming the economy or did he screw up when he decided the virus doesn’t really exist and just live with it. He screwed up either way. He was indecisive either way. He failed to lead either way.
Thankfully, we can get rid of the Trump virus on November 2020. We only have to live with it for a few more months...
This is better than Trump’s previous tactic of trying to wish the virus away, but it’s still poor messaging and leadership. The goal should be to crush COVID-19 curves and infection rates across America through wearing masks, social distancing and washing our hands, not to “just live with it” and have to rely on therapeutic drugs to keep people alive. People aren’t interested in playing Russian roulette with a virus with the potential to kill them or their loved ones, or, if they do survive it, it can still cause serious internal damage that takes years off their life expectancy. This approach isn’t going to get us back to any semblance of normal, nor will it get the U.S. economy thriving again. Other nations wore masks all the time and practiced social distancing. Guess what happened? They crushed their curves and infection rates to the point they have minimal deaths and new cases.
This can't be real. He is a wartime president and he hates losers or people that were caught (unless they were Confederate soldiers)...
We are. This is the attitude we have in many aspects. We just live with the highest poverty rate amongst the developed world, we just live with a broken healthcare system that leaves tens of millions uninsured unlike any other developed country, we just live with the highest murder rate amongst developed countries, we just live with one of the highest infant mortality rates amongst developed counties, we just live with one of the lowest life expectancies amount developed countries, we just live with no paid leave for maternity, and we will just live with this virus as we have been, as we do with many things that should not be acceptable for a country this wealthy, this highly developed. What other reason could we appoint this to outside of being just really ****ing stupid. Look at the people we elected, look at the protest against closing hair salons and bars, look at the people yelling communism and slavery at any attempt to control the virus, look at people downplaying the seriousness, the wide spread conspiracies, we are simply ****ed.
It's almost so stupid you can't believe a president would say it....until you lived through the last 3.5 years.
