Kudos to you for being serious enough in your desire for improvements in the way government works that you donate politically (and that would be warrant kudos regardless of party or candidates you donate to). More people should be like you. But I suspect Deckard may have also meant becoming more actively involved... eg write letters, call you representatives, meet with representatives, attend meetings, and even consider running yourself. Heck... I'd support a candidate like you.
Money unfortunately speaks louder than traditional political activism. The trick is find a "bundler" like Emily's List or Daily Kos for liberals to give your contributions weight.
This was the response of Trump's legal team in a court of law from the recount that was filed in January "All available evidence suggests that the 2016 general election was not tainted by fraud or mistake.”
On the scale of craps to give, i give this a one. It's farcical no doubt, but it moves the needle zero. It's just to get people on both sides hot and bothered with out doing anything of substance. It's really easy to sign an executive order forming committees to investigate stuff. Its really difficult to get legislation you want passed through both chambers and signed into law.
Oh my gosh... what will happen with Trump's vote fraud investigation? Trump election-fraud official running for Kansas governor https://apnews.com/11e4763ae0b240ea...n=SocialFlow&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=AP
Hey... what could possibly go wrong? Kris Kobach wants every U.S. voter’s personal information for Trump’s commission http://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article158871959.html
More states refuse Trump/Kobach request for voter rolls: New York, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Massachusetts, joining California and Virginia that already refused. What a ridiculous request and plan... all cooked up by Trump and Kobach.
Is there really a "Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity?" One that requires a "Vice Chairman?" That sounds pretty ominous.... I'm sure Trump supporters have no problem with this though. Because LOCK HER UP!!!!!!!! And also because NOBAMA!!!!!!!1111 EDIT: Oh, I also forgot FAKE NEWS!!!!!!1111
Can you imagine the shitstorm that right wing media would've had if President Obama tried to seize the voter roll data in every state? Earth would've spun in the opposite direction.
And Utah says no dice too... I am guessing this plot by Trump/Kobach to get state voter's will go the way of the Trump "my inauguration crowd was bigger than yours" story and not in the Trump's Accomplishments thread...
That fascist socialist obama. I'm glad Trumpman vanquished his sorry ass and took back the Constitution!
Does this Fox News report count as "fake" news: Dem state officials refusing to cooperate with Trump voter fraud probe http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...o-cooperate-with-trump-voter-fraud-probe.html First, seems that both Democrat and republican states (Utah, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Kentucky) have rejected Trump/Kobach's request for the voter info. And second, it appears that many states would not be able to by law. While I know why Fox is pushing this out as a partisan thing, where are all the people complaining about CNN now?
LOL... another "Dem" state joins the list not complying with the Trump/Kobach request for voter information. I wonder how many U.S. taxpayer dollars is being wasted by Trump on this farce? Trump's Voting Fraud Commission Won't Get Full Indiana Data https://www.usnews.com/news/best-st...g-fraud-commission-wont-get-full-indiana-data
Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, a Republican, similarly said he won't turn over any information to the panel, telling members of the voter fraud commission to, "go jump in the Gulf of Mexico."
