I wonder if it'd be better (politically) for Rand Paul to come out as not endorsing Trump, stay silent, or play the "I'm just endorsing my party" card.

Anyone have opinions on that? My first instinct would be to openly denounce the sure-fire loser that is Trump, but maybe he'll be docked credibility from the party elites for going against their candidate.

So Trump is suggesting "second amendment people" may be the only ones capable of stopping a President Hillary Clinton? I understand he desperately wants to be king... but have some decency.

He makes it very clear he doesn't care for our democracy or society. We don't joke about political violence.

 

The Republican party already kind of hates him because of his Libertarian stances, if he goes against the party here, he's likely to lose funding totally and have to face well financed primary challenges like Ted Cruz is about to face when he's up for re-election.

I understand why he won't publicly come out against Trump, but I think it's pretty clear that he's against him, just like about half of the Republican party.

 

This guide is better suited to run for office in the Philippines than in the US.

 

His people are gonna get out and try to turn it into a reference to the gun lobby, but all know what Trump's aside meant. And unfortunately one of his undereducated, hateful followers has probably tucked this idea in their frontal lobe for future instructions in case of librul president....

 

I don't think even Duterte ever slightly hinted any harm fall on any opposing presidential candidates

 

With all the dumb, inflammatory, anti-democratic **** he spews, Trump should be looking to skip the debates. Especially, if they select a scary moderator.

Police: Man beaten with crowbar for wearing Trump shirt

Police say a man was assaulted with a crowbar in the parking lot of a New Jersey restaurant for wearing a Donald Trump T-shirt.

Bloomfield police told NorthJersey.com and nj.com a 62-year-old man was walking on a city street last Wednesday, wearing a T-shirt that featured the Republican presidential nominee standing in front of an American flag.

Police say a motorist questioned him about his "Trump for President" shirt, cursed at him, then got out of the vehicle and attacked him. They say he was struck several times with a crowbar and suffered injuries to his arms, hands and thighs; he was treated at the scene.

Police say the male suspect fled before officers arrived. They didn't identify the victim.

(Interesting that there's no mention here of witnesses... perhaps it was the case that the motorist wearing the Trump t-shirt was propositioning a male prostitute, short-changed him, got his butt kicked and made the whole story up to sell to Breitshart. I mean, people are saying things. I don't know.)
