Donald Trump reversed his stance on minimum wage. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-minimium-wage-hike-reversal
Trump: time to tax the rich. GOP faints. Not only will he not accept their money but he wants them to have less of it. Does Hilldog have any sort of economic policy? What a mess.
Control of oil > Fighting religious fanaticism That was just as true in the 1950's Eisenhower administration as it is with today's Obama administration.
(P.O.S. TRUMP) "Yeah, I didn't know s*** about the minimum wage before, except why do we want to overpay Wal-Mart workers for God's sake, OOPS, Bernie voters like the sound of it, I'm all for it, I'm going to pay more than $15 per hour, MAKE AMERICA GREAT! Now sit up and beg for more!"" (Audience) "ARF! ARF! ARF!"
As expected. Trump is an untrustworthy liar. He can conceivably backtrack on everything he said during the primary. Then if he somehow wins the election, he may backtrack in everything he said during the race. He has conned the dumbest demographic (his supporters), because they are so easy to manipulate.
Good thing Hillary is a model of consistency <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/z53PSv0NCIg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Wow, Trump is going to raise taxes on the rich and raise the minimum wage? He's brilliant. He knows he can't win the election against Hillary without taking some Dems with him, so he's making an appeal to Sander's voters. He might just win this election.
It's called evolving on a subject. What politicians' do. Obama did it. Clinton never cared about gay marriage, but it wasn't right time politically to openly support it. Trump just lies....
Wow you're a real Sherlock Holmes. Back then you couldn't say you were for gay marriage and get elected. So she did what politicians do, hide their real views on a subject. You can compare that to Trump if you like, but at least people can figure out what Hill's real position is - do you have any idea what Trump's actual position is on anything?
This is why I've said several times you have to look at his actions. What has he paid his workers at his hotel and casino properties? Did he pay them more than minimum wage? What does he pay in effective taxes? I won't rule out that Trump might win but it will truly then be a victory of rhetoric over substance that somehow turns a billionaire that brags about how he exploits tax rules for his benefit as a friend of the middle and lower class while hiring foreign workers and doing business overseas as a Nativist who will protect US jobs and stop foreign competition.
And what effective tax rate has Trump been paying? I suppose that's why Trump has a SuperPAC http://www.politico.com/story/2016/05/great-america-pac-amy-pass-222900 First off winning isn't an economic policy. It's barely a slogan. Clinton does have a fairly detailed economic policy. https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/plan-raise-american-incomes/
That has kind of been Trump's point: he can gain the system while others cannot. PAC's are not controlled by the candidates. For example, Obama raised $1.4 billion for his two campaigns - more than twice what McCain and Romney raised. However, that's not including PAC money. In essence, Trump has still refused their money though I don't expect that to go on too much longer. It's not a policy, it's a message. Unlike Donald Trump, Hillary lacks a message, and that lack of a message is going to turn-off a lot of potential voters. Is "Make America Great Again" any less sophisticated than "Yes We Can"?
I've said it before - this guy cares about winning and he is a very good marketer. I recall you didn't think his candidacy had a chance but the guy knows what he is doing. Politics is often rhetoric over policy and you can see that as many of Republicans are slowly getting in line. Hillary better choose Bernie as her running mate or I think the odds are that Trump takes her down. His emotional pull and ability to connect with people on a raw emotional level is far more dangerous than Hillary's rational approach. People are not rational.
It was more than control of oil for the Americans. We were dragged into it because of the fear of the spread of communism. We were fighting a completely different ideological war (for some reason Americans love getting into these kinds of fights lol). The issue of religious fanaticism simply wasn't an issue back then and there were no Islamic fanatics attacking American interests at that point. That didn't start occurring until the 70s and suicide bombings didn't gain popularity until the 80s if I recall correctly.
I think he's got a shot too. I have him winning the entire Midwest/Rust Belt. If PA goes GOP Hilary is screwed.
Well Trump's foreign policy has been the same for the past 28 years <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SEPs17_AkTI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
