I'm with you on this one Honey Bear.

I truly hope, with all my heart, that Trump is the GOP nominee for president.

Gotta say, I agree. Will make it that much easier for the Dems to win the election in a landslide.

More and more of the little guys who have backed the tax cuts for the rich GOP party have realized that they have been conned. The billionaires have never given a damn about gays, abortions, African Americans (as long as they do good work at Goldman's or Citibank) immigrants etc. They largely only care for the most part about how much money they have.

A significant part of the little guys who have been conned to vote GOP are pissed off and confused so Trump who is a sort of outsider and is appealing. It is sort of like the folks who took out their suffering due to the 2008 financial debacle by going into the Koch/Fox funded and organized "Tea Party'

Am I the only one who finds this offensive?

Am I the only one who thinks this is the kind of thing an 8th grader or unrepentant a**hole would retort with?

    Thread sucks.

Based on a somewhat cryptic post in another forum, he was recently paroled.

Do you follow the news? You can't refer to anyone as just a man anymore. In his mind, he might be a Sarah. Or a Charlotte. It's called being DELICATE and leaving the option open for a person to be a transgender without alienating them. On this board alone we have several duel gender posters who are absolutely offended when they are referred to as a man.

This is the kind of real world touch you need to run. Not an old geezer like Hillary who is out of touch with everyone. The best part about Trump's run is he's timed it perfectly - the democrats have never been weaker. They don't have a single viable candidate and instead of voting for a docile, invisible leader who doesn't give people the hope they need RIGHT NOW, I see a lot of them going with Trump's decisiveness and hardline business policies.

Thank you. Now that you've typed the above, I can just stop taking you seriously rather than be offended by the bile you're spewing.

A toddler could formulate Trump's 'decisive' policies. All we know from Trump so far is Mexicans crossing the border illegally are rapists... mostly; we need to build a big wall, destroy ISIS, and be "hard on China". Like I said, a toddler could reiterate his talking points.

Two type of people like Trump

    1. People who enjoy lowest common denominator reality tv.
    2. Those who believe that destroying 'political correctness' in this country means having the 'courage' to say Mexicans are rapists and women should be on their knees.

Honey Bear at least has a sense of humor in D&D. Sometimes the discussions get a bit stuffy in here.

I am starting to like Trump and I don't fall into either of those categories.

I am a Sanders supporter, first and foremost, but I think I am leaning towards Trump over all the other candidates. Hillary just won't get me to the polls unless she's up against Jeb or Walker, in which case I will definitely vote for Hillary. (and I know that Sanders and Trump have some polar opposite views)

If it's Hillary vs Trump, I will sit out or vote for Trump.

I will take an offensive person over a humorless person any day of the week. It seems like our society is getting more and more humorless every year, and a Trump presidency will be a big F U to those people. People are way too sensitive these days. Humorless people are the most dangerous people on this planet (see Daesh).

I did like what I heard from Kasich, though. I'd like to hear more from him.

Well, he's definitely not wrong. He had a lot to do with those ratings. But expecting Fox News to be fair is hilarious.

Watch your tone, young man or transgender. This is the daddy here. Your assumptions are always going to reflect your own simplistic thoughts as opposed to anything rooted in reality.

Illegal immigrants FROM Mexico do NOT mean Mexicans. It means people smugly coming over illegally , and the Mexican government helping the worst ones do so. This is an issue and should be addressed. The country has to help itself before it helps others.

What anyone says 18 months before the election is irrelevant. How many times do politicians flip flop? How many times do they lie to get votes? Or money? This is a guy who isn't going to waste time pandering and who shoots straight from the getgo. He'll get to policies when it's time for specifics. For now, it's about the one guy who can see how to get things done with a country thats been in a funk, and go out and do it.

    He's a businessman, not a politician.

If everyone here knew what was best for them, they wouldn't keep coming back to the D&D. Give the sheep an able shepherd, and they will thrive. Throw in another sheep with them, and they'll roam aimlessly.

I think Trump wants to kill Free Trade agreements. It's the impression he gives me when he says we're losing. You make it more expensive for Walmart to import their crap and they might be willing to manufacture their goods here at home and pay a living wage. We've exported our manufacturing base with Asian and other foreign trade agreements and gutted the middle class so the corporate .1%ers get bigger stock dividends.

I'd like to see Trump talk more specifics to drive the conversation.
