No people are just mad we got harden and Howard without tanking a single season. Really? James harden flopping rubbed people the wrong way, we had a whole team of flippers in 2010 kmart, scola, Hayes, Lowry, battier even dragic and brooks flopped like no tomorrow. If Beverley was hated, was Artest hated when he got traded here who got under even more peoples skin.

There's no logic to people liking and disliking teams, most of it is just hating on success or hating because it's hip to hate. Let's face it how many times do casual fans even watch rocket games to come up with their claims. People will criticize because it's fun to do even when most of the time its illogical and stupid, like hating on spurs back in the day because they are "boring", or dirk for being a choker, or Howard this season for being a crybaby/unprofessional/not serious.

 

We appreciate articles that are supposed to be neutral and objective, but sometimes enough is enough. As fans, some of us have taken shots at Morey, but now is time to circle the wagons and defend our own Rockets brother and sisters. It sounds corny, but the last thing you want to do is to allow someone to take shots at your brother. You can but they can't.

 

There's a significant difference people don't seem to be taking into account... Lakers have decades worth of championships... Miami was constantly in the spotlight due to the big three, one of them being Lebron "king" James... When you're going to call yourself a "king" you're going to draw a great deal of hate... he now has two rings...


The rockets haven't accomplished squat since Hakeem... and hadn't accomplished squat before Hakeem...

They mad we got Harden and Howard in consecutive seasons. Plus, had Lin and Parsons. Rockets had a very marketable team.

It's true. People don't like the Rockets. They don't like Harden, they don't like Howard, and they don't like Morey. Hell, many Clutchfans don't like the Rockets. Whatever.

 

To be able to maneuver and give your team the ability to have 4 max contracts is pure Morey genius. Everyone feared what could've been. This glee comes from the league's collective sigh of relief.

The common denominator is Daryl Morey. He's known to be arrogant around the league and among agents. Trust me, it's not his greatness because we haven't won crap. The general consensus is Morey's arrogant

Not true. JVG was fired only after contemplating for weeks whether he would continue as coach. He was ambivalent about coming back. I don't recall him ever having a negative thing to say about the organization. He picked us to win the championship last year, for god's sake.

Nope. The title made it seem like Lowe was hating on the Rockets (again). I didn't watch it, but was frustrated that he continued to hate on us (or so I thought)

 

Some people just don't like it when others are perceived to be smarter than they are, and then those others go as far as to almost relish in it by embracing media opportunity.

Just the way life is. I think Morey's confidence in himself and his ways rubs his peers as a "holier than thou" attitude.
