Harden never should have advocated for Westbrook.

Paul was fine, probably even better.

You mean like the problems they had shooting the ball last night against SA? I'm forced to agree - LeBron really struggled while jacking up all those 3's...

    IMHO -
    1) Harden got sideways with CP
    2) James petitions to swap CP for his good buddy Russ.
    3) Capela was no longer effective with Russ in the lineup.
    4) Capela gets swapped for wing help in Covington.
    End of story.

Don't place James as a victim.
This whole series of events likely started by appeasing him

The minute Paul started advocating for more ball movement and changes to MDA's scheme he was shipped out of here for Westbrick. It should be plainly obvious to anyone here that MDA & Harden are not going to make the types of changes necessary to really contend for a title.

You're really going to pinpoint one good 3pt shooting game for Lebron?

As you can see, Lebron is a very inconsistent 3pt shooter. I wouldn't be worried about him hitting those 3pt shots in the playoffs, especially if he starts getting double teamed.

I like how those who have decided Harden made the trade have just ignored this quote from TF and one of our clutchfans insiders who claimed Harden wanted to add Butler or Westbrook to him AND PAUL

    Westbrook was a Tilman move.

    Too ****ing bad.

    Figure it out.

And that team already "really contend for a title"

You could have used the picks from the Westbrook trade to nab Covington

    Paul
    Harden
    Tucker
    Covington
    Capela

The general manager should be making decisions, not Harden and not the owner. In the two years since the trade, with the meddling, we are hemorrhaging picks, something Morey has absolutely NEVER done.

Russell Westbrook has been the most consistent player on this team over the last 25 games, you jamokes.

You don't get it - the Lakers don't have to count on LBJ to be a consistent 3 pt shooter because anything he gives them from the 3 pt line is gravy. They are the opposite of the Rockets who are heavily dependent on Harden hitting his 3's. Now come playoff time, which team as presently constructed, is playing a style of ball that works better during the playoffs? I agree that last night LBJ got hot and was feeling it but he was also sending a message to the rest of the league that he is capable of elevating his game at any time. I would not bet against him doing this in the playoffs.

Bingo. Capela fit with Paul, didn't fit with Westbrook.

Harden not getting a ring falls on D'Antoni? Perhaps.
But, are you saying ANY OTHER coach would have been a slam dunk to win it all?
Seems there was 'the greatest team ever assembled' that stood in EVERYONE'S way (GSW)
Do you not remember those guys? They were dominating the league during ALL of James' time here.

We had our foot on their throats (WITH MDA at the helm) until CP's hammy went pop.
MDA's coaching and system had us on TOP in that series. CP's hammy took care of the rest.
MDA gets no credit for THAT. ONLY gets credit for 'no ring'.
***I wonder if GSW fans blame Kerr for Thompson's ACL and KD being injured
and losing to Toronto. They're probably smart enough to realize it wasn't his fault

And you are insinuating that MDA has tied James' hands? LOL
QUITE THE OPPOSITE. James has free reign to do as he pleases.
MDA and his system turned James into a scoring machine and league MVP.

As for James' floater? Did you even watch the Charlotte game?
I saw plenty of those go up and go in.
So coach is also responsible for James not taking enough floaters?
Wow. You have an axe to grind.

So, you've laid your ground rules:
Anything GOOD that happens to our team is on the team or individual players.
Anything BAD is laid on the coach. We get it
