Agreed. But spelling his name right isn't respecting him.

    Oh?

Team. Team. Team. No one player controls tempo by themselves. The better teams dictate two. Wolves are Rubio and a bunch of kids. Team.

8 rebounds per 24 minutes is actually kinda good.

3rd best and he is closing in on the second one as he steadily improves.

    Yeah right,

when you constantly got outplayed by a 35 years old vet on both ends of the floor, and he is your second best player in the team?

No wonder the defense of this team is just trash.

houston rockets had 18 rated defense... if you deduce month of november learning new defensive scheme , injury and being on cruise mode since december we are, at least, top 10 defense, EASILY.

Clint Capela and Nene and Anderson deserve credit for keeping the center position from being a massive black hole like was expected.

Capela isn't the Rockets second best player, he isn't as good as Anderson or Ariza or Beverley and likely Williams is a better basketball player as well.

Clint Capela and his statistics are a byproduct of Harden and D'Antoni. He wouldn't be nearly as productive on another team. However he does deserve credit for actually being willing to play the PNR and within the confines of the system, something Dwight Howard either was too stupid to do or refused to do.

Still, Capela right now isn't good enough defensively to be locked in as the sure long term solution.

Nerlens Noel was traded for a bag of potatoes. If Morey really wanted Noel, he would be a Rocket.

No you aren't right on Motiejunas.

Actually his consistency is why he is second best

He puts us rebounding every night and scoring most nights

Beverly is very valuable as a third guard and all around player

However Capela is doing things like having the league's third highest fg℅

Capela has been assisted on 97% of his dunks. He should be shooting 60%+ because everything he gets is assisted on and with 2 feet of the basket.

Does he not deserve credit for putting himself in good position as well as finishing?

People called this guy soft. He is great moving without the ball

For someone who hasn't watched any games, you sure have a lot to say about this.

He is soft. And he is a good lob target. Not sure why you'd imply they are mutually exclusive.

And since you're a stats guy....there is no way I'd call a 24 mpg player our 2nd best player....7th most minutes. There is a reason he only gets 24 minutes. Explain to us why you think he's 7th on the team in minutes?

And don't tell us it's because the coach doesn't know what he's doing....and Capela just needs a better system, PG and coach to better utilize him.

You probably can't tell us, because you don't watch the games :p

Actually, MDA said multiple times this year, he'd like to see Capela get 30mpg, but he has a motor issue.

At best, you're saying he has potential to be 2nd best, no?
