Sorry, are you joking? Chris Paul has been on 9 all nba defensive first teams. He is a top 5 defender, and he will defend any PG in the league better than anyone else except maybe Patrick Beverley. Even if he is short. That's not a point of debate. Paul is an elite NBA defender, and one of the best in the last 20-30 years. Harden can't guard anyone anyway, it doesn't stop him from being a top 5 player and being the primary reason a western conference team gets 40-50 wins every season regardless of supporting cast. Gordon is a good defender, good penetrator, decent passer and an incredible shooter. Practically no trio in the history of the NBA adheres to your standard of being a good fit. These guys are an incredible fit - they are less than ideal on defense, and offensively better than all backcourts in the NBA and on the planet earth. There is a REAL possibility it could be the best backcourt of all time. The Warriors can not dream of defending those 3. Curry just can not guard Gordon, and whichever of Iggy or Klay is guarding Paul is going to get lit the F up. That trio is flat out better than whatever the Warriors backcourt can throw out there and it's not slightly better... it is clearly and significantly better. It's just not a respectable opinion. I think you should undig your heels and re-assess what you're saying. The Warriors organization would not even agree with your assessment.
I'm not reading anything but what you're writing to me, and now I'm going to stop doing that too. Thanks for your time.
This must have been the signing Burt heard about. He just confused Troy Williams for Melo. It happens. Happens a lot.
I guess it's a good thing we aren't paying him for his point guard skills then. We'd really be in trouble then!
gosh... you are a respected member. an icon..... why is everyone resurrecting dead threads these days?
Danuel has everyone losing their minds.. futhermore, Danuel is better than Troy, come one now. I guess I was wrong when I assumed everyone likes Danuel.
Because brother this is a very similar situation. And... this isn't really that old, Not like I'm brining back Shandon Anderson threads
It’s not about being “better than Zion”. It’s about House playing a role and fitting a need. No one is crowning House a star, but this team was lacking what he’s capable of bringing. Or maybe I’m missing the point of this bump.
No people are going crazy about House. I need to see how he plays and fits in the playoffs and how he plays and fits after he gets the money he wants he's had a past of where teams get him and release him , Wizards, Suns, Warriors, Nothing wrong with caution in the wind, Clutchfans has been wrong about 'perfect fits' before
