No sh**. What I'm saying is that he and Taylor had the most to prove. Taylor actually showed up for a few games so he should be good as our 3rd stringer... Troy was on the active roster last season so he had the least to prove. Obviously not everything is based solely off SL play... if you've got a track record you have a better shot at getting signed. Troy has one.
I'm gonna need to see a lineup with all of our 3/D wing defenders at once... CP3/Harden TWill Ariza Luc Tucker
I am guessing we signed him to this non bird rights..... which means.... that roster needs to lose some space for melo.... Think Anderson, Nanu, maybe taylor, and all the NGtted are on their way out with the 2020 1st and some seconds..... sooner rather than later hopefully!
I think Bobby Brown and Williams are great depth and sleeper hits. Although I wouldn't mind picking up another Guard like monta Ellis or something. Once we get rid of Anderson and probably somone else + our nons I wouldnt mind looking at mo speights or David lee
I mean, I'm happy Williams is back... Just don't know what's going on with this depth chart. Seems pretty loaded with legit talent though.
yeah.. ariza/melo/luc/pj/troy with pringles' short rotations there could be some unhappy players maybe morey knows melo's not going to be here........or that he'll have to include ariza to get the deal done
Man if he trades Ariza he has to realize that will really hurt his credibility with Harden and CP3 (and potentially Lebron by extension) We aren't trading Ariza. Ariza/Bobby/CP3/Harden are boys. Morey put the friends together on a team. Those guys aren't going anywhere.
i know this, it's just that all the guaranteed contracts for wings is a mystery......so grasping for possible answers
Those guys are also basically playing the 4 here. Tucker/Ariza/Melo/Mbah a Moute should all be looked at as 3/4s. 1/2: Paul/Harden/Gordon--------Bobby Brown/Taylor 3/4: Ariza/Melo/Tucker/Mbah a Moute----------Troy Williams 5: Capela/Nene/Black Joe Chee: 4/5 Edit: The Rockets ideally will be able to run the same team conceptually for 48 minutes. Elite PG Offensive 2 Guard Defensive Wing that can shoot the 3 Either elite offensive player (Melo/Ryno) or ELite defender that can shoot 3 Solid defender and pick and roll monster Their attack should consistently be nearly identical and effective.
I don't see Ariza traded either...Bobby was cut last season when we were bringing back D.Mo though, fwiw...
I think people are really overvaluing Luc RMAM. I never thought he was very good in LA. He shot well last year, but never before that. I think Troy can get minutes over him for the 9th man
I just don't understand why a team like the Knicks or the Nets wouldn't offer him just a little bit more. 22 year old horse that is clearly improving. 71 million/4years for Tim Hardaway Jr. Give me Troy Williams for 8 million/4 years.
