Lil Troy, we will miss you. All he ever wanted was to.... To be a baller, a shot caller, 20 inch blades, on his impala. <a href="http://s293.photobucket.com/user/lcahmed/media/LilTroyDaniels_zpsb919a197.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm61/lcahmed/LilTroyDaniels_zpsb919a197.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo LilTroyDaniels_zpsb919a197.jpg"/></a>
C'mon, Daniels in the playoffs last year was nothing but a basketball version of a successful Hail Mary play. Thanks for the memory. I hope he finds success but I'm not losing sleep over losing him.
The reality was Daniels was a 2+ year project that Houston, who is going for a deep run this year, can't afford to give minutes to for development. This trade gives them a veteran, upgrades future trade assets, and has the Timberwolves developing Daniels for the future.
Sad to see Troy go. Reality is Terry for the most part has been a better version of him, so Jet took his jerb.
Too short, too light ... Troy's game still needs rounding out. With Terry and Canaan on board, he lost his spot on the rotation. Keep growing your game. Both Vipers superstars Covington and Daniels out of the team. It takes more than shooting.
I mean the Rockets gave Covington a shot and because of that he might end up with a pretty nice long term contract in the NBA with the stats he's putting up. Daniels got some prime time exposure with that big shot he hit vs Portland. Who knows, he might get to see the floor 20 minutes per night and make 10 3's and have a nice promising career once he gets more comfortable in the game. Hope Daniels does well and continues to improve.
Troy got one huge, really important NBA moment already. That's more than an average Rocket rookie ever will. I hope he makes a good career of it. Good luck in Minny!
Thanks for all you gave us Troy - great story. Undrafted, but never quit. Hung in there and made the best of the D league. Got called up and hit some big shots for us when needed. You got noticed and now it's time for a new opportunity. Hopefully Minny has a spot for you to shine. May you be able to write the rest of your story with a hero's ending. Best of luck to you
This. Mchale did the kid no favors. Still think he's the type of specialist you want on the roster when you have harden/Howard. Good luck true. Except against us
Appreciate you for what you gave us during the playoffs last year. Wish we could've seen him play consistent minutes and I'm sure he will get that in Minnesota so good luck.
Classy guy up to the end. You'll succeed, son. From Troy: First time hearing the news that I was traded I was disappointed.. But then I thought about where I'm from my hometown Roanoke, VA.. The kids that look up to me.. The people I make smile each and everyday just because I made it out.. And I could no longer be disappointed but thankful.. Those people depend on me to keep going and that's just what I'm going to do.. Keep going.. Keep striving to be great.. I'm living the dream.. Being traded is part of the business I accept that.. And I am very excited to be a Timberwolve.. But Also want to thank the Rockets organization for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent.. This is the beginning to something great.. Great opportunity for me to do what I do best.. #Blessed #BasketballNeverStops https://sqor.com/posts/d0a47f40-68c7-470f-8107-889cb1534bbe
