If one could get the current Rocket guards to cut their dribbling time from 20 seconds to 5-6 seconds, we'd have to give that coach a statue next to Hakeem...
kidrock (and anybody else who is a Lakers / triangle offense / basketball expert), Did you read the article on ESPN today saying that the Lakers staff adjusted to the Spurs by going to a more triangle-oriented offense and moving Shaq to the apex at the top of the key? That Shaq is usually against that move, but in this case the situation was bad enough to where he went along? Series now tied 2-2... What do you think? Did you notice a better run triangle offense over the past two games?
I don't see how it helps when Shaq is at the top of the key... It's not like guys are cutting to the basket, and Shaq is hitting them with passes inside. It does allow Kobe more space to drive, but that is the only benefit. IMO, Shaq should get the ball on 90% of the possesions.
