I watched it over as well ! You can see Blake clearly look at his head then throw it at his back as hard as he could ! He could have easily went for his legs or feet like most players do it’s just the right thing to do.

Pretty good decision for the Rockets.
First of all I'm shocked that anyone is shocked why Green was suspended. Just knowing of his behaviour his whole carreer.
And LOL at that having anything to do with supporing Houston or whatever. He could play for a team in China and if there's trouble he would still be one of the protagonists.


.I think that Griffin could have gotten a fine but if he got suspended then our other players would have gotten suspended and MDA for cursing at him so it's okay.

Either way, I'm done arguing about this. It was tongue in cheek for me to say that I was going to start a go fund me for GG, but the point is that he should be shown support in this situation by the team, management, and fan base.

 

Is there any precedent for a 2-game suspension when there were reportedly no punches thrown? Seems the Rockets got boned on this one, compared to recent similar incidents.

In December, Boogie Cousins didn't get suspended for going after Kevin Durant in the tunnel at Smoothie King Centre.

In March 2016, Matt Barnes got suspended for 1 game for going after John Henson in the Bucks' locker room.

In December 2016 nothing happened to Trevor Ariza when he waited for Salah Mejri outside of the Mavs locker room.

In January 2013 Carmelo Anthony didn't get suspended for waiting "to fight" Kevin Garnett at the Celtics' team bus.

So why did Trevor and Gerald get a 2-game sanction? Did something happen that we're not being told?
