Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green Suspended for 2 games

Screwed in terms of playing a guy with 6 fouls and now only punishing our guys, since when is bumping into a coach just something to brush off?
The league, referees and office, thus did us wrong. No matter how you slice it.

 

Well Ariza was the one who ran into the opposing teams locker room. Austin Rivers seems like a punk, but take off your homer glasses. What Ariza did was dumb.

 

Never said it wasn't dumb, in fact totally unnecessary and silly knowing why Ariza went in there. Still, does not take away from what Blake Griffin did ON THE COURT.

 

It's too late for him but you are 1000% correct. And I want to know why a pissant like Rivers can so get under their skin that they feel compelled to go out and act like a bunch of morons. All they have done is given a green light to every tiny brained dumbass out there to bait them into acting stupid. Now, if only they'd bring this same type of passion and effort on defense then this would be a much different conversation.

You want to deal with someone like Blake when he's acting like a dick on the court? You take that basketball and you school him in front of everybody. Drop a some 3 pointers in his face - have Capella jam the ball on him and then see what he has to say which will be not a damn thing.

Maybe if the Rockets play the Clippers in the playoffs, Tucker can take out lazy eye Rivers.

 

Again, Who The **** is Austin Rivers and why should myself or any of the Rockets give one damn about what he has to say? I appear to have missed the ceremony where he was declared to be some sort of relevant NBA player. So he dropped 36 points on them back in Dec. You know how to answer that? You go out and drop 40 on his team the next go round and then see what he has to say which will be NOT A DAMN THING.

 

again yeah its easy for someone on the outside to say. yeah he might be a nobody or whatever the case may be and thats probably what made it even worse. some guy in a suit that isnt even playing decides to start yapping nonsense with 1 min left in the game. You're dealing with grown men who many have probably seen the worst of things in their life at some point. Reality is theres just guys who aren't afraid to call BS and ariza is one of them. If you cross a line hes going to let you know about it.

 

Hitting coach is not the same as acting a dick...what’s with the gangster tone This is all besides the point. Of course Rockets should have fought harder, take care of business on the court and show some toughness. Unfortunately we are weak and let Rivers and Blake dominate, be physical and talk ****.

I can't believe Griffin got nothing, Rivers continues his gleeful audition for ******* of the Year, and we lose Ariza and Green for two freakin' games. Incredible. I have a good friend who has for years had what I considered a paranoid view of the league and the refs. His favorite phrase when something stupid happens? "It's rigged! It's rigged, I tell ya!" I always rib him when it happens. Perhaps I should consider giving him an apology. This bias against the Rockets is getting hard to ignore. Did one of the players or someone with the organization cut Silver off in traffic? What's the deal?

Also this Afflalo suspension makes it even worse and indeed Ariza could’ve at least got some punches in!!! How can they explain giving the same punishment for an actual swinging punch to the head and going to the locker room for some barking?! League comes off like a joke here.

The biggest take from this is sports media are not doing their jobs, which is why the league gets away with this. There should be discussions about Griffin at least. AT LEAST some form of argument about what he did. And media should be questioning the suspensions. Instead they focus on painting CP3 as the villain. Media does not like Houston!

 

Wow Aaron did try to punch him yet Ariza and Green got the same suspension?
I seriously thought it was only gonna be one game for our guys.
But If Anjelica didn’t move and dodge it, Afflalo would have punch him in the face. He should have been suspended for at least 4 games.
