I am travelling with the wife and kid to Aspen for spring break. Just want thoughts on where to stay and any must do activities. Any info on ski passes and how things work would be apprecitated since I never been to Aspen. I may be staying at a place called The Crestwood in Snowmass but I don't know if that is far from Aspen.
Really nice place, lots of swanky charity events. Make sure you bring your dress clothes. Maybe even a tux. Spoiler

Its a very small place, lots of good skiing. It's VERY expensive so be ready to drop some cash. There is a small park in town that you can take the kid to. The scenery will be nice and its FREE. Take them on a horse ride at Maroon Bells (?).....there is a lodge that the kid can have hot cocoa before the ride. You can easily go skiing for less at Keystone near Denver. There is a Hot Spring area on your way from Denver to Aspen............if youre driving there. Your hotel will have plenty of info about ski passes. Its a nice experience but way expensive. Good Luck and have fun.
