The sad thing is the season ticket holders will have no clue most of the players on the field. For them, it'll be watching the movie The Replacements.
they know the pulse of the fanbase. That’s why they don’t want the fanbase there. Cal and Co don’t wanna hear the chants
Don't think season ticket holders are gonna hold back their feelings anymore than the average fan attending training camp. Plus it'd be a good way to get the team prepped for home games.
IDK man, I feel like anybody who is still willing to keep their tickets despite the absolute buffoonery is either a fair-weather fan who just wants to be seen, or somebody that is so deep in their love for the franchise that they can't see the bullshit around them.
If somebody is spending money on this team still, they at least deserve a free bottle of water for standing in the 100° heat to watch training camp ran by a failed assistant coach. I'm sure Cal will charge them $5 for it though.
Ya and it will be interesting to see how much Cal and Easterby show their face. If the boo birds are out, think it’d be for them and not the players. But also think this is trying to incentivize season tickets more than not wanting fans there. Which is just as laughable.
The only non-deft thing I can think of is that in some way this is to insulate Watson if he shows for training camp, which the rumor was a few weeks ago that he might.
I mean, if I was in Houston I would still go to as many games as possible, and I hate our ownership and management (not nick) I know it’s counter productive to change, but I love going to games
Our franchise is an absolute joke, led by awful ownership and terrible management (Caserio to be determined).
well the article says this: "The general public will also have the opportunity to register for a chance to win limited tickets beginning Friday, July 16 at 6 p.m." So some general public will still attend to the practices at training camp, bu it will be mainly season tickets members.
