The Texans are going to have to draft their right QB.

Texans should start going to grocery stores, restaurants, strip clubs, prisons, etc and start interviewing guys for the QB opening. Maybe they get lucky and find the next Curt Warner, but at worst case they end up the same as they are right now. Time to put some real effort into finding a QB, because if the league has proven anything throughout its history, you simply cannot win without one. And we all know, the Texans will never draft one.

If someone from the Texans front office wants to contact me, I will give them a list of names of guys who played the position that I went to school with, maybe some will be available, some are probably dead, but even the dead ones will be better than what we have to choose from right now.

Savage is only injury prone if you just read the headlines and ignore the context. He was mysteriously put on IR early last season despite being on track to return very soon. He was concussed this season after a dumb QB sneak in a relatively meaningless game that was right before playoffs. Not a Savage apologist though, he probably sucks too.

Brock looked pretty decent in the playoffs compared to the regular season. He is clearly showing signs of progress. I would stick with Brock as he led us to a great win over the difficult Raiders. We were supposed to lose the Pats game by a lot more than we did today. Brock showed clear leadership qualities today. I would still draft a QB early in case our top QB gets hurt.

No, they beat the spread which is what we were expected to lose by.

the context of whether or not the qb sneak was a meaningless play is irrelevant so quit "qualify" the injury. dude executed a qb sneak and was hit with a typical nfl tackle and concussed. also, this is the guy who as a backup with no playing time got an infected elbow and missed a couple of games.

An infected elbow has nothing to do with playing time or being injury-prone.

You're reinforcing my point, thanks! Dude is so injury prone regardless if he played professional football or not. If he was a plumber or a whatever he'd be the guy always calling in sick. Except he does play professional football which makes his situation even worse because it's a hazardous job LOL.

Also, he hasn't played much but go back and watch some of his plays, after contact he is very slow to get up almost every single time. That's a sign that he's mentally weak and physically weak. Not tough.

There should be no way that the Texans contemplate starting Asswiler next season. Whoever said they should stick with him because he 'improved' in the post season... WTF?

He just broke ****ing records in the playoffs for most attempts for a QB with less than 200 yards. He sucks ass. He's irredeemable. Anyone suggesting to waste another year with him is a fool in this regard.

If its just between the two Bozos on the team I'm going to be very disappointed. They need to draft a qb in the second, OL in the first

In limited playing time during the preaseason or regular seasons he always seems to get injured. Even on a fluke qb sneak where he didn't even get hit hard he got knocked out for the season. Also he doesn't even look very good in the first place.

Texans need to draft another and bring back fitz

What makes anyone think they can draft an unproven player and finally hit it right? Our GM hasn't found a QB yet who was any better than Schaub was before he got hurt. Schaub was never the same after that foot injury. We need a dominant offensive line!!!! I would hate wasting a QB pick on someone in the first 3 rounds when we need to build that line, or look for replacements for free agents we are sure to lose. I would rather pick one up after that. Once Brock's guaranteed money is up we can pay for a good QB, but until then, we will just be better off building our offensive line and maintaining a good defensive team.
