In other words, he's the second coming of Hakeem Olajuwon?

That would be nice, but I think Boozer went to so late because he was overlooked due to the other studs on his team. It was a classic example of what can happen when an "undersized" player falls in the draft. That's why I say who cares about Aaron Brooks's size!! TJ Ford is 6 foot and he averaged 8 assists per game.

I'm somewhat familiar with Landry. He's already better than Hayes but isn't exactly what I had in mind for a starting PF. He makes Hayes very expendable and is a much better fit in Adelman's offense. Landry should definitely be able to take advantage of being left alone. He will have a tough time guarding Western Conference PFs.

He's not Carlos Boozer but I can see him being a very effective player in a star-studded offense if his jumper doesn't disappear.

    Landry's standing reach is 8'6.5"
Newly's standing reach is also 8'6.5" for being 2" shorter

Landry must have a big head

Ranked No.5 (out of 80) in testing results at the Orlando pre-draft camp!!

    6'8.5" (with shoes), 248lbs, 6'11" wingspan, 7.5%body fat, 31.5"/36.5" vertical jumps, 21 times 185lbs bench press, land agility 11.63 seconds (average 11.62) 3/4 court sprint 3.29 seconds (average 3.70).

His athleticism and strength are very impressive. Hope he'll turn out to be a good pick.

Why haven't they announced our trade yet? That's kind of weird. Did the trade definitely go through?

I'm dumbfold about this too. Maybe they think Yao is supersized so he can compensate the others lack of size.

6'8 is not as tall as we'd like, but I think it'll get the job done. From what I have been hearing, he is energetic, a decent defender, and has a good touch near the basket. He's athletic compared to Hayes, which we kind of need. Let's see what happens during the summer.
