But he didn't do it single handedly lol. Maybe offensively, but certainly not on defense. Harden STARTED game 5 last year passing up wide open shots & carelessly throwing the ball away. This wasn't about fatigue. You don't start a game so wore down you only take 2 shots in the 1st half. He made a decision to not compete that game. No crying, just facts......Stop making excuses
I'm saying the whole year.. you can't run someone down palying MVP single handedly carry a team to most wins possible and simply say let me replace him with a fresh superstar in the middle of the playoffs for the whole year last year, who could have single handedly carried the rockets farther?
Lol you don’t trade arguably the best combo guard ever period.there has never been a scorer with his playmaking skills ever.
Trade Harden in the middle of the playoffs? Who said that? You just made up a scenario & responded to it. Nobody ran anybody down. Harden WANTED the ball in his hands and MDA gave it to him. Harden loves his numbers and at times will play garbage time minutes to get his stats. Nothing wrong with that if your winning. But stop making Harden a victim, as if he was "ran down" by the evil MDA dictatorship who forced him to play against his will. That's false. All homerism aside, Harden QUIT on his team last year. If he does it again this year, trading him should be a option imo
so you can't name 1 single player who could have single handedly carry the rockets farther last year? so you're saying trade him to get worse? rebuild? tank?
Define carry? Offensively you have a argument. Defensively you don't. Let's be clear, I do hope he gets his act together this year's playoffs. But if he pulls another game 5, then you have to trade him for another star. You may not get equal value, but it'll keep us competitive for years to come. Quitting should NEVER be tolerated in any sport
The Rockets haven't underachieved in any year with Harden and have outperformed pre-season expectations nearly every year. In terms of playoff success they have basically gone as far as they "should have" each year except the Portland series year.
Even the Portland series (which, yes, was excruciating...), they still had the same record as the Rockets that year, with 2 stars in Aldridge and Lillard. It was definitely disappointing, but not some colossal upset like it's painted out to be.
be the best/max player.. who? really that hard to name one? so you admit no one could have possible carried the rockets farther than harden last year?
lead the team as the only superstar harden carried/lead the team as the only superstar to 55 wins last year what's so hard? which lone superstar can lead the rockets to more than 55 wins last year and to the WCFs last year?
We will all have dumb opinions. The problem however, is when people not only voice their dumb opinions, but double down on it as well.
the problem is Hakeemthagreat aka brewer goat and million other ids repeats his repetitive garbage with his multiple id’s but luckily his stupidity stands out like a sore thumb
Why are we talking about trading Harden when we are a game and change out of the top seed in the NBA and this is arguably the best Rockets team in the history of the franchise? Asking for a friend... If GSW doesn't get KD, we are the favorites for the title. It just so happens that GSW has one of the best teams ever assembled. But don't discount Point God and Beard. They are balling out. Bizarre time to start wondering if Harden is our star.
