Trade deadline: make a move or stand pat?

    Clips say no. Also, regardless of fairness, I doubt any teams in the league would agree to a trade that nets us Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Remember when the Pau/CP3 trade was axed. Cuban and others threw a hissy fit because it looked like the Lakers were pairing Dwight and CP3.

    The 4's we have currently are all undersized. Neither of them rebound well, nor play defense very well. Bargnani is a 7 footer and he has considerable more ability to score than any of the 4's we have currently. He also has shown the ability to score on a consistent basis. I don't know that he's reached his ceiling but what we have currently is basically nothing. Josh Smith or either of the Utah 4's are not worth 10 mil either. You have to pay someone and 10mil for 2 years is far better than 14-15mil/yr for 5!
