wow PER 36 stats mean a lot.......it is a nothing stat as if people think that is the actual numbers a player would put up in a game if they play 36 minutes. Does not work like that
Yes he can. Regardless of whether the Rockets get a center or not, they need to use the TPE. While they got an elite wing role player, they still have a short rotation. There are rotation caliber players that they can get for the 3.6.
I wonder if they could trade for Markief and pickup O'Quinn on the buyout market? This would give them the badly needed length they will need to compete with the Lakers/Portland etc.... The small ball works but wont against the big teams in the playoffs.
I hate that guy , never want to see him in Rockets Red. Don't want his kid on this team either. Just pisses me off that the league let him get away with all the tampering with AD .... but if its the Rockets , they are getting pinched by the league , Nene's contract ? This $7.6m TPE Morey had orchestrated now $3.595m .... **** Adam Silver & LeB!tch.
Everyone wants first rounders, and no one wants to give up first rounders (outside of Tilman, I guess). We complain a lot about our own team but there are far worse.
Pistons asking 1st rounders for expiring and semi washed guys like Kieff and Rose...other teams are like "ok, bye". I'm still kinda shocked no one is going to offer a 1st for Drummond though, i'm not a fan, but still...
no one wants him to opt in and be stuck paying him $30 Million or even worse having to sign him to a long term contract that he thinks he's worth.
Bucher: Marcus Morris will be in LA by the end of the day. In a Lakers uniform. Kuzma & Green for Morris. Shamet, Harkless & a protected 1st is a better package but Clippers (currently) are not willing to let go of Shamet.
I have had a lot of people PM asking about possible center targets the Rockets can get for 3.59 million of less. Here is a list........ most of these are straight up centers but a few also play power forward. I am not even convinced that the Rockets use their TPE on a center, as they also would like a wing. Guys that likely would require a #1 pick Damian Jones Mitchell Robinson Moritz Wagner Christian Wood Guys that likely would require a couple of #2 picks Nerlens Noel Markieff Morris Daniel Gafford Harry Giles Khem Birch Willy Hernangomez Cheick Diallo Guys that would likely require a single #2 pick Mike Muscala Luke Kornett Kyle O'Quinn Another possibility is that the Rockets trade someone like House for a center and then use the TPE for a swing player Possible options would be........ Damyean Dotson Chandler Hutchinson IMO the best fits for the Rockets are: Nerlens Noel and Markieff Morris.
