Woj: (Fultz) Real possibility he's played his last game as a Sixer. Clippers #1 free agent target is Kawhi Leonard. (Memphis) Gasol is more likely to move. They've been talking with Charlotte to find a combination of players to move in a deal. Protected pick in any deal there. Gasol has to decide whether he opts out or opt in. (Conley) Utah is lurking. Haven't engaged a great deal. Think they'll talk more between now & tomorrow. (Raptors) Masai has looked to see where he can upgrade. OG Anunoby, Siakim, he's not parting with those guys for win-now guys. Hard for them to make an impact move. He can't go all in and have Kawhi walk out the door. They may make a move around the edge. They did talk to Memphis but nothing got serious. Otto Porter is a tough one. Washington still wants a lot back. Beal, they still want to keep him & build around him. They've been open on Porter but have asked for a lot. (Rockets) Shopping Brandon Knight's contract & a draft pick. Can that get them some depth? Talked with Memphis about Green & Temple, Alec Burks is a player who's out there for them, some other wings & role players to start to give them some depth on their bench. Those are the type of deals they're looking at.
If Lakers don't get Davis now or in the summer, what is plan B? I don't think they're front-runners for anyone right now. Woj: One scenario they'd be rooting for is for Golden State to not offer Klay a max and that might turn his attention to LA. Warriors have a lot of money & know that's a guy that doesn't want to leave them. Durant? Warriors are preparing for the possibility he'll leave. They hope he stays. New York is a real possibility. Clippers, if he wants to stay on the West coast, I don't think he'll go to LA. He'll go to the Lakers with LeBron.
Klay going to the Lakers would be awesome. The Lakers burn max cap space and the Warriors fall apart.
They can get Jimmy Hollywood or maybe Tobias Harris or that quality of player. I bet Magic and Buss are really glad they stuck their nose up and passed on George and Leonard the last few years.
While Nuggets guard Gary Harris has been cited as a potential trade candidate, according to Matt Moore of ActionNetwork.com
ah yeah..Jimmy + Lebron with LAL media..that will end well. So funny that the Lakers will have to get Philly's leftovers while they are watching the Clippers build a real superteam next door.
Wayne Ellington after buy out Bring in J. Green and Temple Not exactly home runs but it would be a LOT better than what we started the season with
