I'd say they're a top 4 team in the west and we all know with some luck here or there things happen. they definitely needed someone like conley and now they have him.

Awesome trade for the Jazz but probably should've held out to trade Exum over Jae.

The Jazz got better, but they also lost depth. Lets see who they get to fill out the roster this summer before we start talking about title contention.

What’s crazy is that Indiana was open to taking on Conley and his contract but didn’t want to give up Harrison and two 1sts.

I wonder if there’s a point guard making obscene amount of money that we can trade away to Indy....

When I first heard about this it worried me, but then I heard Jae Crowder was sent to Memphis in the deal. That dude played really well against us and was one of the main reasons they gave us any trouble at all. Apparently they won't be re-signing Rubio. So this is effectively Rubio + Crowder for Conley. I think it probably improves them but I'm just really not sure by how much. And that is IF Conley can stay healthy. He doesn't do that very often.

Conley is a big upgrade over Rubio though, we (and other teams as well) can't play 5 on 4 anymore, Conley is also much better than Rubio in creating his own shot, that will help Mitchell too. As for Crowder, i guess Royce O'Neal will be resigned and take most of the minutes there..

I like Royce O'Neal too. He played well. But they'll have to bring in somebody quality to back him up. I'm seeing a lot of people penciling in Favors as the starting power forward and I know that works against a whole lot of teams but it won't work against us. They needed Crowder and O'Neal against us.

I guess they'll give more minutes to Niang, he didn't look bad against us in a couple of games, or maybe they'll just sign someone else i guess.

    Terrible deal for the Jazz.

Grayson was the quintessential Jazz player.

Well if what I recall is right and that is the first year with high schoolers then the 2022 draft might be one of the deepest of all time since you're getting top prospects from two levels. A late first that year is more valuable than it is in any other year.

I wonder if Memphis would keep Korver and Crowder or trade them on for other assets.

Crowder would be good for the Rockets. Too bad we traded all our assets for Luxury Tax Savings.

This is exactly the same hype they had last year when they did nothing and were suppose to be a top team. Now they lose depth and get a great player but unless they fix problems with their bench and figure out if Mitchell will turn a corner in terms of difference maker, I don't see anybody worrying about them. They will lose in 6 rather than 5 next year unless they actually add decent shooters.
