How about a little appreciation for McGrady? Put aside your feelings about what happened last year for just a minute. You can even put aside the memories of everything he did for us in leading us through the four adversity-filled seasons prior. The fact is that right now, McGrady is handling things pretty well. So many trade rumors and lies about Adelman and Morey hating him, so much talk about him wanting to play, but Adelman saying he's not ready, and not letting him play yet. How many superstars (or former superstars) would be able to handle this situation the way McGrady has? Can you imagine the kind of whining and tantrum-throwing we would be seeing if this was Iverson, for example?
