multiply that with the times he lead the Rockets, Magic, and Raptors past the first round.

im with Tmac on this and i didnt like him for what he did towards the end of his tenure here. aside from Rose injury, if i was Melo i would rather play for Tom Thibodeau than Mchale. Furthermore, it is easier to advance in the East than the West, top seed is a sure thing, in the West getting the 8th seed is tough.

Besides, i dont like Melo playing for the Rockets, is he ever a winner where ever he goes? What this team needs is defense not more offense, we need a more defensive minded coach and we need to bring in defensive minded vets to teach defense to the young core. Just look at Spurs how they mix in the defense and the offense, we need to fix something based on needs, if we add Melo are we adding more offense which we already have in abundance or we add defense where we lack? I really dont understand the fascination with losers like Melo.

McGrady was being objective I guess, but this doesn't help our cause. Damn it T-Mac.

Eh, whatever. I doubt Melo will make his decision based off what Tmac says.

As a Rockets fan you don't want to hear that, but I've noticed the last couple of years that he's come to some games, still lives in Houston, and talks about "his Rockets" on Twitter, so I don't think he's "hating" on Houston here. Isn't this a Chicago reporter as well?

I'm sure that if it was CSNHouston and not CSNChicago he'd talk about how great a fit the Rockets would be.

He should demand Dr. Oz take a look at Rose's knee first.

lol why would you go to a heavily defensive team with your star player extremely injury prone? don't we get enough hate from non-rockets?

It's not the fact that Melo won't base his decision off what Mcgrady said. It's the principle. This piece of **** has the nerve to sit courtside with the owner and then publicly states that a player should go to a different team, knowing that the Rockets are pursuing that player? This guy is a damn bum and never will be respected by NBA fans let alone Rockets fans.

Hakeem goes to games and has lived in Houston longer.

He's not telling prospects to go elsewhere.

    He's welcoming.

Nice try though. I mean doesn't Shawn Kemp live in houston too ? Shaq has a house too.

I'm not trying to do anything, I just don't really care what he has to say to a Chicago reporter lol.
