this is how you give an interview. tough questions, real answers (no matter how you think he should answer).

that's what i always like about tmac. he says what he thinks, eff PR.

He had a choice to strengthen the knee or have a dangerous surgery? I thought he got 2 weeks off to strengthen and rest the knee and when it still gave him problems his only choice was MF surgery

By the way, I've always wondered if that knee was giving him problems years before he got microfracture surgery, he always seemed to tape it or put a sleeve on it, or maybe it was just a fashion statement

Seems like his mouth hurt his chances more than anything. And now LAC have closed the door. The free fall from where he was just 9 months ago is unbelievable.

T-Mac should join the Grizzlies like Iverson did in his comeback. At least, T-Mac could sell some tickets.

This goes to show you that when you cant play at a high level any more you will be found out.

It happen to Michael Finley and now its happening to Tracy. He needs to focus on getting healthy as possible and adapt his game to what his body can do now. Not what it could do 2 years ago.

He needs to find a team that is willing to give him the minimum and prove him self.

This is the last time any one is going to be willing to pay 1 million dollars to him to do anything in his life.

Hope he does not blow it

It really is. Especially considering Chicago basically leaked what they wanted McGrady to say.. and he still couldn't do it. He's gone into Iverson territory with a lot of GMs.

He continually puts his foot in his mouth. Is that what you like about him?

Its one thing to be direct and honest. That's admirable. But with McGrady, he says things that aren't based in reality. A few weeks ago, he was saying that he thinks his role from here on out would be to play limited minutes. That his body can't handle more than that at this stage of his career. Now he's saying that he expects to be competing for a starting role. The Bulls have made it clear that they don't give a damn what he expects, and they want him to do what they ask regardless of what he thinks.

The guy still has the mindset of a pampered superstar. That's not going to fly anymore, but he'll probably never understand why. He's going to retire soon, wondering why teams don't give him a chance to be "T-Mac".

Its actually kinda sad to see this happen to tmac.. He just wont let it go and accept that he is no longer elite or even close.. Its funny cuz a few years ago he said he didnt want to go out and score 30 he wanted to defer to yao and this is yaos team n blah blah blah.. Now hes trying to get bakk to being a number one option?? And i think he would excel in a smaller roll because no matter wat anyone says he is one of the best passers in the game and his skillset and courtvision is hard to find.. And i think in a smaller role all that would show.. O well he did this to himself at least he made millions before it all went downhill

Who do they have that would start over McGrady anyways? Luol Deng? Am I forgetting somebody?

I don't think the Bulls are exactly stacked at the wing...

I think both Deng and Brewer have more to offer then T-Mac at this point.
