Hey, CFers. My GF and I will be making our first-ever pilgrimage to the Toyota Center on Friday to hopefully NOT watch the biggest meltdown in Rockets history. We were hoping to watch the shootaround or warm-up stuff prior to the game.

    Questions:

    1. Any idea how early they let people into the arena?

    2. Do they they let you get close to the court for shootaround? (Our seats are upper level.)

3.Do they offer in-game seat upgrades for a fee?

    Thx!

    Your timing is impeccable.

    1. On Friday, 5:30. They are giving gym bags, get there as early as possible.

    2. Think you can till around 6 or 6:30.

    3. Yes, at the Polk entrance, to the right

Avoid eye contact with the bums asking for money.

They don't even bother giving a sob story. Last time the guy just said " I know someone here has some change for me".

    1. on weekday games the doors open an hour before game time.

    2. they let you get close to the court for shootaround, but as soon as the last rocket warms up then the ushers make you go back to your seats

    3. nah, they don't. if you want to upgrade then you have to pay the full price of the ticket you want to upgrade

One other note is that street parking is free after 6. If you get there early, just pay for the time difference and you should be golden.
